A few more days to... 30 weeks!

Well we just passed the 30 week mark. Yippee, 75% down and only 25% left to go. I'm sure it will go quickly. We are due the first week of May, actually the day before Mothers Day - May 8th. We have a lot left to do before then to get ready though. We are slowly getting there.

I am getting much bigger.. I don't know how I have another 10 weeks to go.. at this rate I will be HUGE by then. Will took these pictures the other night, it was late and I was tired so they are not the greatest and of course once Dakota saw that pictures were being taken he wanted to be involved as well. He loves his picture taken.



I think on that last one, Will was getting enticed by Dakota's photogenic face or maybe its because the view screen on our camera no longer is working (thanks to dakota).

We have a whole room full of 'stuff' that people have given us and handed down to us. Thanks to so many people we have not had to buy as much. It seems like most of the things we have left to get are the BIG items and we are taking care of most of them in the next week. We finally got a great deal on a dresser/changing table set at a local furniture store. I have put pictures of them in below.
The first one is the dresser and what we will also use as a changing table.


The second one is a smaller/taller matching dresser. Will was able to bargain a bit with the store owners and we got a pretty good deal on the set. What's nice is that this set will last a long time and we could definitely use the additional storage space.



After we get the baby's room set up a bit more I will take some more pictures and post them here. We found a great bedding set (below) and our crib is on order right now. We got a mattress last week... so things are slowly coming together. My friends are having a baby shower for me this coming weekend, so hopefully any of the smaller things we still need, we will get then.



Right in the middle of all this baby preparations, someone did a hit and run on our car - what a huge bummer. I put in a picture of our poor car below... It's hard to see all the damage but the overall bill was almost $2000. Thank goodness we have good insurance and our deductible is only $250. They fixed it pretty quickly and now it is back to looking like new again.



I will try to post again soon once we get the baby's room a bit more completed and I will also post pictures from the baby shower this weekend. It should be fun. Time seems to be moving by pretty quickly at this point.
